Liberation of Colonial World A.5 110

The Subhekar Dynasty has been continuing its extraordinarily aggressive push into Imperial fringe worlds within the Jericho Reach. The Colonial World A.5 110, or colony 110, was taken by surprise by the Necron, who have a strong hold on the planet surface now. We have reason to believe a dimensional doorway has been established within the Capitol bastion of the planet, from which Necron forces have consistentantly poured from for the previous few weeks. Visibility is very low due to the heavy fighting and weather conditions, so very little can be confirmed as to the full strength of the defenses or forces of the Necron, however anti-air ground defenses can be confirmed, as any attempts to descend directly onto the bastion have been ended forcefully.

Your objective is singular and simple:

Find a way through the Necron battle-line, infiltrate the bunker, and shut-down the suspected doorway.

The team had a pretty feasible plan: approach the bastion and drop the whole thing using an escalating seismic detonator.
The execution.... Well, they never really left the planning stages.

Investigations are still being undertaken as to exactly what happened, although the Raven Guard's pict recorder is a pretty evident tell of what went on. The Lord General's council members that are still alive have since been rounded up and are currently undergoing interrogation, headed by Vulgate.

Anybody want to come clean?
Well, anybody except Allanor. It's already been established that his perceptions and comprehension of what happened are extraordinarily skewed.

While never actually knowing what was going on I could have done more to prevent this outcome by stepping in to stop the fighting I apologize for not acting quick enough and standing idly by - Cliner Aurailias

As commander of this mission, I should have tried more methods to stop the altercation. It is still unclear to me what caused the guard to attack Lief but Brother Allanor proved his honor with his efforts to save me so I stand behind his account.

I did not hear any communications he may have had with any members of the team so I have no reason to believe that Allanor caused any of this. He must have seen something I did not to cause him to assault the Lord General. However, I do still regret not being able to stop the fighting.

Battle brothers, I stand in shame and take full responsibility for the failure of this mission. On that day, Allanor and I thought it a good idea to deceive Lord General Benefict through mind trickery for aid in passage to defeat the Nercon forces. My mind spun out of control and I lost myself. I believe my mind trick caused the Daemon to spawn. Kill-team Bravo should not be at fault.
